A hand painted animation for the music video 'Heimwee' by artist Ronnie Flex. The music video is directed by Bear Damen.
This animation is created by painting all 25 frames per second with acrylic paint (for about 20 seconds of video) which makes about 500 individual sheets, that are all scanned in to create an animated second layer on top of the video that is shot on 35mm.
